Nassau, Bahamas
New Providence Island, commonly referred to as "Nassau Island" actually contains the capital of The Bahamas, which is the city of Nassau. The island is located about 160 miles due east of Miami. It is central to the Bahama Islands chain and is surrounded by the Bahamas Outer Islands which all are within about a 150-mile radius. Nassau, the capital city of The Islands Of The Bahamas, is located on the coast of New Providence Island and linked by a bridge to Paradise Island. This is the most popular spot in The Islands Of The Bahamas. It has everything: fancy resorts, world-class hotels, glamourous casinos, exciting nightlife, duty-free shopping, spectacular aquariums, historical buildings, sandy beaches and sporting activities of every kind.

Paradise Island is only 4 miles long and a half a mile wide. The small island is connected to Nassau by two bridges. While looking at the arching beaches lining the north shore, the elegant resorts or the championship golf course, it's hard to believe that this was once known as Hog Island. Without a doubt, the main attraction of the island is the Atlantis' 14 acre waterscape, the world's largest open-air aquarium teeming with over 100 species of fish. Paradise Island is also the jump off point for two of the more exciting activities on offer - the Dolphin Encounter and Powerboat Adventures.
